make over

November 23rd, 2007 by funkybandage

An Australian young lady who were going to her formal night came to book time with me for make over. She asked me whether I remember her as she came to me last 2 months for her awards night. I remember her as I think she is pretty, nice and pollite. She told me that she really like what I did on her face last time and that’s why she returned to me. She did come in after many days to do make over. Her mum took some photos about the process that I do her face and some of her friends was watching there as well. Her mum said to me that I did good job and they are happy with the result and keep saying thank you to me.

Right after they left, an english lady walked in to thank me for doing nice make over for her. She told me that she felt so confident on that night because of the colours I put on her face. She also said to me that I really made her day so wonderful! She really sounds sincere…. Ah..in fact, I don’t know/ recognise who is she. She quickly explained to me that I did her make up last year!! Oh, last year??! She was trying to explain more to me so that I can recall her. She said that I did her face last year for her marriage registration and she went to Brisbane right after the registration, that’s the reason she didn’t have chance to thank me until her visit to Sydney this time!

That’s the way to make people happy, I never thought about that! I am sure my family will be proud of me if they know this!

Back to Square

November 20th, 2007 by funkybandage

Ah…. I miss my blog! I haven’t updated "mimpi" for more than a year, can you believe it?!

The process of the decision to walk away from the deal was tough. However, I feel so comfortable once we delivered our thoughts to withdraw! At first, I can only feel the impact of disappointment… but now I am sure the efford that we put before will definately our achievement so far! We are more experience for next time, I guess.

We are now back to square….keep looking.

Janet leaving Sydney

November 20th, 2007 by funkybandage

so sad to learn that you are leaving Sydney. However, I am glad at the same time to know you are leaving for better career opportunity! Don’t worry too much about about new environment, you will be fine.

You know what, so much memories pop in my mind…from the first day I met you. We became closer after the insurance compensation affair…I was a loss adjuster that time! I settled down well in sydney because of so much support from you and Sue Fong that time.

Remember this: "we are not seeing each other as frequent as before but we will update and know each other no matter how"

April 1st, 2006 by funkybandage

I haven’t updated my blog for ages. Life has been hectic, I lost someone that I love, I have gone through many hard time….I survive finally.

I was really glad to see Emily Tsai Wan Zhen that day. She came back from Japan, still look pretty, still eat just tiny bit and still longing for couple life as before. I was supprised that she gave English tution to an auditor in Japan for last few months. Never thought that she is a teacher.

I feel sorry for Cherrie and Kookie. I can’t work with them who I used to work with. I sincerely thanks Cherrie for burning a candle for me for her. Where is my tiger eyes??  Wonder how is Chuen going?

My brother must be very excited after he got CSP. However, I don’t think that he is better than me(in term of selection criteria)! Hey, Yang, you just too lucky. Should thanks us for advising you to do those annoying things, huh?! Indeed, I am happy for you inside myself.

Veeronica gave me a gift with butterfly. She said butterfly stand for happiness!

Now I have friend who can lend me aura ray! Look at his idea in photography, I will just rate him as : "tok kong"! If you are intereted, let me know I will show you his stuffs.

Wah! everyone are so "tok kong"…….

This is to my husband:

you are my silence supporter!

Robert confuse me!

February 23rd, 2006 by funkybandage

Indeed I got flu many days ago. I just shut down my mind to think that I was sick. I did go to work, study and keep doing things. However, this afternoon when I was asked to solve a simple budgeting problem which invloved simple mathematics skill…oh god where is my brain??? I can’t think at all! That stupid Robert suggested me to drink ginseng wine and say "Von Voyage" to me???!! WHAT??!  I was so confuse, I can’t think about anything that you tell me! I left without explaining more as my throat was so sore and not felt like talking.

Veronica who is my new friend, fix everything for me today. Lucky me!

Year of The Dog

January 27th, 2006 by funkybandage

The Dog is a symbol of loyalty, warmth and caring, so hopefully, we can expect a year of harmony, relative to the clamor that was the Year of the Rooster last year.

If you are not having dinner with your family today(new year eve, 28/1/06), you can have some hot dog?! That’s what I did this morning.
